Visa information

For visa application information, see the website of Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) .

The applicant should watch MOFA's announcements regarding recent entry restrictions for foreigners to Taiwan (in response to the COVID-19 outbreak).

An Invitation Letter from the conference may be helpful for your visa application. It is a proof that both your paper submission and registration have been accepted by the conference. The letter will be stated in English and will only be issued once your registration and payment have been completed. Invitation letters will be sent by e-mail.

To request an Invitation Letter, please e-mail the following items to Shih-Fan Chou (sfchou@mail.ntust.edu.tw):

  1. Proof of Registration
  2. Proof of Payment
  3. Passport Photo
  4. A Scan Copy of the Passport

Please note that an Invitation Letter does not guarantee you a visa. The Organizing Committee has no control over the visa application process nor the decision, and the conference has no responsibility for actual visa issuances. Should your application be denied, we cannot alter the decision, nor will we represent on behalf of the visa applicant.

The visa application process may take some time, and you are strongly advised to start your application early.
